“The tour operators were kind and helpful. I feel that the advertising for the tour promised some actual enrichment about the area that we were staying and facts about Kabukicho. The actual experience was taking us from one izakaya to another without context and then a karaoke place. There wasn't much transparency about the price of each place and we weren't informed there were seating charges and the extra surcharge for new years. This would all be fine ultimately as I anticipated this as I've been to tours like this before. I would have liked the courtesy of being informed.”
